The amount of Zakah we receive continues to increase. We pass on the whole amount of Zakah, without any deduction.

In recent times, we have distributed most of the Zakah directly to eligible local recipients. We also send some Zakah through our charity partners, who are able to help the needy overseas.

All the Zakat al-Fitr we collect in Ramadan is sent to the poor and needy in a number of countries, passed through our charity partners.

We have been advised that Gift Aid is not considered part of Zakah or Zakat al-Fitr, so Gift Aid from Zakah and Zakat al-Fitr is used as general Sadaqah (charity).
